Purerua Packing Co tea towel corned beef label

The Purerua Packing Co. was established in the late 19th century by local Northland settler Walter Mountain. The Stone Store stocked 'Penguin Brand' cans of mullet, corned beef and plum pudding amongst other delicacies until the 1930s. The Purerua Packing Co. is long gone but these beautiful goods are printed using the original labels and a fine reminder of early settler ingenuity.

Delivery Information

Please allow 10 working days to fulfil your order within New Zealand. We aim to deliver more quickly. Deliveries overseas will take longer – please allow at least 21 days for delivery of your order.

The NZHPT uses NZ Couriers within New Zealand for most items, and NZ Post for fragile items such as china, and for all international deliveries. International airmail is used for overseas destinations, and the charges are dependent on the weight of the order and its country of destination. All items may be traced.
