An Historic Places Trust membership is an ideal gift for a relative or friend. As well as supporting the work of the NZHT, the recipient will enjoy exclusive membership benefits, including a free subscription to our magazine, Heritage New Zealand and free entry to hundreds of heritage properties both within New Zealand and around the world.

Simply fill in the details on the form below. You can complete the form on-line, or print it out and mail or fax it to us at the address shown at right. You can choose to join for one year, for life, or pay for five years now, and receive an additional six months membership for free. 

Once we’ve processed the application we’ll post out a membership pack to the recipient which will include their personalised membership card.

Update
Please note that incorrect information is circulating that our membership benefits include free parking at sites in the UK. Charges may apply for parking, use of amenities and at times of special events and exhibitions.

Applications from Overseas
If you are joining the NZHPT from outside New Zealand, your membership application will be processed within our normal turnaround period of 21 days. Please allow time for international air mail to reach you. The express service is offered only to New Zealand residents.


Donations
If you are able, an additional tax deductible donation provides much appreciated extra funds to meet the growing challenges in the preservation of New Zealand's historic places. A receipt for tax purposes will be posted to you separately.

New bank security feature

If you are a Bank of New Zealand or Westpac credit card holder, you may see a pop-up box after entering your credit card details into the online payment system.  This is a new security facility offered by the banks that requests a password related to the use of your card.  The feature is provided by your bank and is not related to the NZHPT or this website – please contact your bank directly if you have any concerns about this.

To ensure your security, credit card details are sent through a secure payment server.  The currency referred to is New Zealand dollars.    Extra charges apply for postage outside New Zealand. Subscription fees are not refundable.
